Rita Ora has planned "surprises" for her debut US album.
The ‘How We Do (Party)’ hitmaker is set to release her debut, ‘Ora’, in the states later this year and is excited for fans to hear a "whole new" version which includes other artists signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.
She told MTV News: "There’s a few surprises. I don’t want to give them away, but it’s definitely in the Roc [Nation] family. 2013 is really important for me because it’s going to be the first time the US hears my official album and I wanted to put a few extra tracks on there and make it really special.
"So basically I’m giving [them] a whole new album of new material."
‘Ora’ debuted at number one in the UK after its release last August, and Rita, 22, hopes she can replicate its success in the US.
She added: "2013 has got a lot of things I want to achieve. There’s a lot of kind of plans and ideas that are going to come out in 2013."
Rita – who is also kicking off a UK tour on January 28 – recently admitted she "tested" herself last year, but the hard work paid off and she knew she had made it when she got to meet her idol.
She said: "I don’t think I’ve ever achieved as much in a year as I have in 2012. Emotionally and physically, I really tested myself but it’s paid off. I’ve had three number one singles, travelled the world and met my idol, Gwen Stefani."
