Rita Ora to design for Adidas?

Rita Ora is collaborating with Adidas on a new collection after having signed a $2.5million deal with the sportswear giant.

Rita Ora is rumoured to be collaborating with Adidas.

The 22-year-old star has reportedly signed a $2.5million deal with the sportswear giant to create a new fashion line, but details of the partnership are being kept under wraps.

The Sun newspaper reports the blonde beauty has ”been talking about designing for the last couple of years.”

She would be following in the footsteps of Stella McCartney, Jeremy Scott and Raf Simons, who previously worked with the brand.

Stella was appointed Team GB’s Creative Director for the 2012 Olympics by Adidas and she worked on the uniforms worn by athletes in the British Olympic and Paralympic teams competing in the London games.

Jeremy – who has just been appointed the new creative director of Moschino – launched a collaboration collection of footwear in June 2008 where he worked on high-tops and teddy bear shoes.

Earlier this year Belgian designer Raf launched a limited-edition footwear line which featured five different designs.

Rita has recently been working the runway for DKNY and closed the brand’s show at New York Fashion Week and she is launching a capsule collection with Rimmel London in 2014.
