Ritz-Carlton opens second hotel in Dubai

Luxury hotel targets business travellers in the region.

Luxury hotel chain Ritz-Cartlon has opened a second hotel in Dubai. With 341 rooms, the Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre is targeted specifically towards executive business travellers, and is the only hotel to offer a direct passage to the city’s complex of financial centre buildings.

After a hard day at work, guests can unwind in the hotel bar, No. 5,  located at the end of the pathway to the complex, and intended to serve as the hotel’s social hub. The bar features a 30-metre wine wall displaying more than 3,000 bottles of wine.

The hotel also offers a Thai fine dining restaurant, Blue Rain, a French brasserie, Can Can, and the steakhouse, Center Cut. Each restaurant has its own outdoor terrace.

One of the most striking features of the new edifice, a ten-storey outdoor waterfall cascades down the exterior of the building, and there are eight water features situated throughout the interior of the hotel.
