According to ShockTillYouDrop.com, director Rob Zombie will direct the sequel to Halloween, which was released in 2007.
The director also set a release date for his project Tyrannosaurus Rex. The film heads to theatres on August 28, 2009.
According to producer Malek Akkad, Halloween 2 is expected to go into pre-production in January and filming is scheduled for March.
Tyler Mane should be resuming his role as Michael Meyers.
