Robbie Williams asks for Help from Slash

According to the magazine Metal Hammer, the two men share the same passion for the Port Vale football club.

A source close to Robbie told Metal Hammer: "The pair met on the terraces of Vale Park last year where the idea for a collaboration first came up."

Since last February, Williams has been in the studio in Los Angeles to finish the album, temporarily called Diamond.  At the moment, the release date is scheduled for September.

Slash, who’s real name is Saul Hudson, is the former guitarist of Guns N’ Roses.  He is now in the group Velvet Revolver.
