Robbie Williams finishes ninth album

British singer has just completed lyrics for his next solo album.

British singer Robbie Williams announced that he has completed the lyrics for his new solo album which is planned for released later this year, reports Contact Music.

The singer has been working on his ninth album at his home in Los Angeles, and is pretty proud of his work, based on a blog posted on his website.

“Lyric progress? I worte everything I need to finish…aren’t I a good boy? I know I like blanket statements about my music…but this album is by far my most consistent. We have an embarrassment of riches where singles are concerned…happy days.”

Williams also confirmed on his official site that he will be doing a new duet. Rumors so far have included artists such as Adam Lambert and Adele.

Last year, the singer reunited with his old band Take That for the first time in 15 years, and this past June the group released a new mini-album Progressed. A successful summer tour of Europe recently wrapped up in Germany in late July.

Considered British pop pioneers, Take That was founded in 1990 and enjoyed huge success until the mid-1990s, at which time Williams left the band to begin a solo career.
