De Niro is currently filming Stone with Edward Norton in Michigan, and FemaleFirst reports that the actor was accosted by a drunken woman on the set of his film.
Friday (June 5), filming was interrupted by Carlyn Campbell, a drunken woman who succeeded in getting past security and accosted De Niro before police intervened, according to TMZ.com.
She was then admitted to a local hospital. It is still unclear whether charges will be brought against her.
After this film, De Niro will star in Little Fockers in July. It will be the third movie in the series after Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, where he plays the character Jack Tiberius Byrnes.
