The Twilight star gave away two kisses on the cheek in a charity event held for amfAR that took place during the Cannes Film Festival last night (May 21), reports FemaleFirst.
The 23-year-old actor was seated next to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, when the film mogul Harvey Weinstein suggested that Pattinson sell a kiss.
A source at the gala revealed, "Harvey joked from the stage that his daughters changed their last name to Pattison after they saw ‘Twilight’. Harvey then suggested auctioning off an opportunity for someone’s daughter to meet and get a kiss on the cheek from Pattinson. There were two bidders who paid £20,000 each for their daughters to have that kiss."
Pattinson was surprised by this unheard of idea, but still played the game to raise money for a good cause.
