In an interview with More magazine, the actress who played Forrest Gump’s love interest revealed that she has drawn the line on her on-and-off relationship with Sean Penn, and that plans for reconciliation are not in her near future.
"I think I’ve always been waiting for things to happen. Now I’m like, ‘I’m okay – I know the direction, whoever’s on board can go with me," she declared.
After nearly 20 years of living by Sean’s side, the actress admitted to having no regrets. "I, we, have two amazing children we raised together," she explained, adding that she now wants to focus on her career.
