Rod Stewart To Release Soulbook

Rod Stewart has taken another stroll down memory lane.

On October 27, Stewart will release Soulbook, an album featuring soul songs from the 1960s and 70s.

The 64-year-old singer, who possesses one of the most recognizable voices in the music industry, decided to perform some of the songs that rocked his youth and inspired him to become a star.

The album features two duets.  He sings You Make Me Feel Brand New with Mary J. Blige, and with Jennifer Hudson for Let It Be Me.

The decision to make a soul album came as no surprise to Elton John, who said, "Bar none, Rod’s the best singer I’ve heard in rock ‘n’ roll. He’s also the greatest white soul singer.”

Soulbook will be the 6th consecutive covers album from Stewart.  Here is the track list for the album:

1. It’s The Same Old Song
2. My Cherie Amour
