Ron Wood goes solo

The Rolling Stones guitarist releases his eighth solo album.

His future in the greatest rock ‘n roll band in the world, the Rolling Stones, has been looking more and more uncertain. In the midst of this period of instability guitarist Ron Wood, also a former member of the group The Faces with Rod Stewart, will soon launch his eighth studio solo album entitled I Feel Like Playing.

Ron Wood made headlines recently when he left his wife of 23 years for Ekaterina Ivanova, a Russian girl who was practically a minor. Besides this titillating relationship, the guitarist has been boozing it up and getting into alcohol-fuelled trouble. He does not seem to be able to handle his drinking and rumours are spreading that members of the Rolling Stones are seriously thinking about giving him the boot.

A guitar is always there to save Ron Wood. He got down to business working on a new album with some help from Slash and Flea, the bassist from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The album’s cover art is normally his domain too. The guitarist also dabbles in painting.

I Feel Like Playing has 12 tracks including:

1. Why’d You Wanna Do A Thing
2. Sweetness
3. Lucky Man
4. I Gotta Go
5. Thing About You
6. How Am I Gonna Catch You
7. Spoonful
8. I Don’t Think So
9. 100 %
10. Fancy Pants
11. Tell Me Something
12. Forever
