The Rolling Stones guitarist is working alone for the first time in eight years, and has drawn inspiration from his wife, Jo Wood, to whom he was married for 23 years, reports FemaleFirst.
A source revealed, "Ronnie had a pretty turbulent year breaking up with Jo and finding new love with Ekaterina Ivanova so he’s got plenty to write about on his new record."
The new album, produced by Black Grape guitarist Danny Saber, will be released later this year.
