It had been strongly advised that the star should not be in contact with his wife of 23 years, Jo, nor Ekaterina Ivanova, the 20-year-old Russian girl he had been seeing.
A friend of the 61-year-old star revealed, "Ronnie is not allowed to speak to his nearest and dearest while he is in rehab. He and Jo still have major issues to resolve. But Jo knows there is no point in even trying to talk to Ronnie until he is sober."
