Royal Wedding walking tour in London

Follow in the happy couple’s footsteps – literally!

As the most anticipated event in England this year, the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is expected to boost an influx of tourism dollars to over $1 billion. About one million royal wedding fans are expected to descend upon the English capital on April 29.

For this special occasion the tourism industry is offering the Will & Kate Royal Wedding Walk, which makes stops at all the London establishments that have played a role in the lives and courtship of the royal couple.

Celebrity Planet has organized the 2-hour walking tour with an itinerary that includes Buckingham Palace, the Royal residence since 1836, as well as Garrard’s Jewellers where Prince Charles purchased Princess Diana’s sapphire engagement ring, which William has now given to Kate.

Other stops along the way include Mahiki, a nightclub favorite of the young Royals, Middleton’s old office Jigsaw where she worked as an accessories buyer, and of course, Westminster Abbey, where the couple are to be wed in front of 2,000 guests.
