Rumer Willis the new face of Badgley Mischka

The actress will appear in ads for the spring 2011 campaign. 

Actress Rumer Willis, 22, will front the spring 2011 ad campaign for high fashion label Badgley Mischka, reports People.

Photographed in Malibu by Tony Duran, Willis modelled the new Mark + James contemporary collection, along with couture evening wear and accessories.

“I was thrilled and honored to be chosen to represent the Badgley Mischka brand,” said Willis in a statement.

Founded in 1998, the brand is named for its founders, Mark Badgley and James Mischka. Their styles, popular with Hollywood celebrities, are young and modern yet also elegant and sophisticated. Madonna, Catherine Zeta Jones, Julia Roberts and Sharon Stone are only a few of their big-name clients  

“We adore Rumer, she is glamorous, youthful and fun,” they said, as to why they had chosen the young actress. “Rumer captures the spirit of all of our spring collections, especially our newly launched Mark + James collection.”  

The Mark + James contemporary collection was launched in 2009 to provide a more affordable alternative to their couture line.

Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, began her acting career in 1995 with a role in her mother’s movie Now and Then. In 2008, she got her start modelling when she donned a striped bikini for an Ocean Pacific ad campaign.
