Many tabloids, including People, announced that the actor had suffered from a heart attack. The actor’s publicist set the story straight when he stated that Reno was vacationing in the Caribbean with his wife.
"Reports that actor Jean Reno is in the hospital due to a heart attack are false. He is vacationing in the Caribbean and went to a local hospital as a precaution for some discomfort he was feeling due to heartburn and gastroenteritis. It was definitely not a heart attack," specified the publicist.
Evidently, Reno is doing well and enjoying his vacation under the sun.
