The filmmaker will be leading the documentary Bra Boys, which is based on the true story of three brothers who initiated the underground surfing movement in Sydney. According to Variety, the film was inspired by Sunny, Koby and Jai Abberton.
Crowe, who directed a 2002 documentary entitled Texas, will also narrate the Australian project.
