After he purchased a new car for a technician on the set of Robin Hood, Crowe has once again performed an act of good deed.
While taking a break from his hectic schedule, the star headed to the cancer research store in Sunningdale, Berkshire, close to the set of Robin Hood in England, where he surprised volunteers by making a $1 500 donation.
"We couldn’t believe it, Russell Crowe came in and gave us the money. We had been hoping to catch a glimpse of him. We were all a bit star-struck, but it was lovely to meet him and he stopped and had a bit of a chat with us," a store volunteer told Britain’s Daily Star.
