Adams prepares to launch several new albums

Ryan Adams plans to release several records that have been on the shelf since 2006, reports Spinner.com.

They’ll consist of vintage material from the era in which the singer released the albums Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights, 29 and Easy Tiger in quick succession, between 2005 and 2007.

Adams announced on Facebook that he’ll release Archives III / IV, a double album recorded with The Cardinals, and Blackhole, a solo album, this fall. Both will be available in digital form, on vinyl and on CD.

Unlike Orion’s recent concept album of sci-fi metal that was released as a limited edition, Adams confirmed that this fall’s records will be readily available to all.

Adams added on Facebook that he has completed two new recording sessions in New York and Los Angeles. "I guess my new solo album will be ready next year."
