Ryan Gosling to Work with Craig Gillespie Again

Ryan Gosling may be working again with director Craig Gillespie.

According to Variety, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) may soon be working under the direction of Craig Gillespie again.  The two worked together in the film Lars and the Real Girl.

Gosling is currently in negotiations to star in the drama The Dallas Buyers Club, being produced by Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment.

The film is based on a true story by Ron Woodroof, a Texan electrician who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1986.  With only six months to live, Woodroof found himself frustrated with the lack of medical options in the United States and began illegal and alternative drugs to treat himself.  He even smuggled items into the country for other AIDS victims, before dying of the disease in 1992.

The film will be released in 2009.

Ryan Gosling is currently filming the drama All Good Things with Kirsten Dunst and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and the film is expected to be released next year.
