According to Redmond, Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett’s son, who gave a reading during his mother’s funeral Tuesday (June 30), his half-brother was not welcome.
Redmond received special permission to leave prison for three hours in order to attend the funeral. The 24-year-old man is serving a sentence for drug possession.
In contrast, his half-brother Griffin, 44, was not allowed access to the funeral by his father.
Griffin O’Neal told Extra that his mother would not be happy with this situation, Griffin said, "She’s mad I’m not in there."
Ryan O’Neal said he banned his son from the funeral because, "He’s a bad guy."
The father and son, whose mother is actress Joanna Moore, have not spoken since 2007 after a violent fight at their home.
