According to an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Ryan Philippe’s 7-year-old daughter, Ava, is helping her daddy get through the most difficult period of his life. Philippe is going through a divorce with Reese Witherspoon.
Ava is a real inspiration for her father, who starred in the movie Crash.
The actor stated, "I know it sounds pathetic – I’m a 32-year-old guy, but my 7-year-old daughter is getting me through the toughest time in my life."
Philippe’s 3-year-old son, Deacon is dealing well with the divorce, and is a lot of fun.
Last October, Philippe and Witherspoon separated after 7 years of marriage.
