Engaged since 2004, Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Bruno) and Isla Fisher (Confessions of a Shopaholic) will finally become Mr. and Mrs.
Britain’s Heat magazine confirmed the news, adding that plans are being made for a ceremony in May or June 2010. Recently, the actress said that their busy schedules had prevented them from making the walk down the aisle.
Cohen and Fisher want an intimate wedding, and the ceremony is likely to take place in London. A source revealed that the two stars are planning to invite only family and close friends. "Isla and Sacha want a small wedding that will include only family and their closest friends – possibly fewer than 50 people," said the source.
In October 2007, Fisher gave birth to the couple’s first child, a girl named Olive. That same year, the actress converted to Judaism, Cohen’s religion, and adopted the Hebrew name Ayala.
Sacha Baron Cohen will soon be starring in a Sherlock Holmes project with Will Ferrell. Isla Fisher will be starring in Groupies and Life Coach.
