Todd Robinson wrote the script and will direct the film.
Hayek will play Martha Beck, a serial killer during the 1940s, who with her accomplice Raymond Martinez Fernandez, found her victims through the classified ads. Travolta and Gandolfini will play investigators handling the case. Filming begins in April.
Hayek recently finished filming Banditas with Penelope Cruz, produced by Luc Besson and Fox. She will also star with Colin Farrell in the next Robert Towne film Ask the Dusk for Paramount.
