Worthington, who has recently been seen in Terminator Salvation, will be doing a remake of the Danish thriller The Candidate, reports Variety.
He will play an aspiring attorney who wakes up in a hotel room with little recollection of the woman, whom he met the night before, who was found dead in the bathroom. As a victim of blackmail regarding the murder, he will try to clear his name and will discover a conspiracy leading to the mysterious death of his own father.
Sam Worthington will also star in the next James Cameron film Avatar, hitting theatres on December 18.
