Jackson and Maggie Cheung (In the Mood for Love) are in talks to star in the highly anticipated film, Inglourious Basterds, from Quentin Tarantino.

The Playlist reveals that Cheung would play Madam Mimieux, the owner of a movie theatre who takes in Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent), who is being chased by the Nazis.

If Jackson signs the deal, the film will mark the fourth collaboration between Tarantino and the actor.  The men previously worked together on Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Kill Bill: Vol. 2.

Inglourious Basterds began filming in Germany on October 13 and is expected to reach theatres in June of next year.

In the meantime, we can next see Samuel L. Jackson in Soul Men, opening November 7, and in The Spirit, hitting theatres on December 25.
