Sandra Bullock picked up some awards recently for her performance in the film The Blind Side, including a Golden Globe for best performance by an actress in a motion picture – drama. Nominated for an Oscar for the first time in the best actress category, Bullock said she does not expect to win the golden statue this year.
"I’m so not winning an Oscar. Nine times out of ten I always pick who’s going to win. And I already know who’s going to win. I’m not going to say, but nine times out of ten, I’m right," she told People.
Other ladies joining Bullock in this category are Meryl Streep (Julie & Julia), Helen Mirren (The Last Station), Carey Mulligan (An Education) and Gabourey Sidibe (Precious).
"I have to say, all the ladies in our category, we don’t care who wins. Someone’s going to win and the rest of us will be really happy for whoever won. We’re just happy to be here. And we like the company we’re in."
