The awards ceremonies have only just begun, and Bullock, who is expected to soak up much of the red carpet spotlight after her sensational year, already wants to take a break, reports People.
This week, The Blind Side star received a People’s Choice Award for favourite movie actress, as well as a favourite comedy trophy for the film The Proposal, in which she stars alongside Ryan Reynolds.
Despite the honours, the 45-year-old actress says she’s already ready take a break from film. "I don’t want to open anything and read anything right now. I’m enjoying too many other things in my life. Once you get a project, it’s a lot of time out of your life. I don’t want to leave home right now," she said.
Bullock spoke of wanting to concentrate on the simple pleasures of life, like a good cup of coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise.
The actress made record history last weekend, when The Blind Side became the first film with an actress in the leading role to gross over 200 million dollars at the American box office.
Sandra Bullock’s next film will be One of the Guys, set to open in 2011.
