Lost in Translation actress Scarlett Johansson continues to pursue her singing career with a new holiday duet with Dean Martin.
She performs a virtual duet of I’ll be Home for Christmas with Rat Pack crooner Dean Martin, for the reissue of his holiday album My Kind of Christmas due out September 20.
The album features classics like White Christmas, Silent Night, Baby It’s Cold Outside, as well as Dino’s popular take on A Marshmallow World.
A longtime fan, Johansson shares with Martin a similar enjoyment of both acting and music.
“Growing up in New York City, Christmas was never Christmas without Dino,” said Johansson. “Recording in the studio with Mr. Martin in my headphones felt as though he were standing right next to me, crooning with that mischievous gleam in his eye. When I was asked to sing on this album, it was literally a childhood dream come true.”
Dean Martin died on Christmas morning in 1995 at the age of 78.
