Scarlett Johansson In Car Accident

The incident occured Friday, when Johansson (Lost in Translation, The Island) was on her way to Disneyland with two friends.

According to the police report, the actress was driving a Mercedes and was being pursued by a photographer.  In an attempt to evade the photographer, Johansson swerved and hit a car with a woman and her two daughters.  No one was injured in the accident.

According to a representative for the actress, "The fender bender was induced by the paparazzi, who chased her for 45 minutes."

This isn’t the first time that a star has been involved in an accident caused by paparazzi.  In June, Lindsay Lohan was intentionally hit by a photographer, and Reese Witherspoon was trapped by a group of journalists last April.
