Scarlett Johansson’s Film Gets Slammed

Scarlett Johansson’s film was called "unwatchable" by her producers.

A portion of the film New York, I Love You, directed by Scarlett Johansson, was "really bad," according to producers.

The film, featuring twelve different love stories, takes place in New York and stars a slew of actors, with different directors for each story.

Scarlett Johansson made her directing debut with a story she filmed with actor Kevin Bacon, but the resulting product did not come close to satisfactory as far as producers were concerned.

Producer Emmanuel Benbihy told Digital Spy, "The story did not specifically involve an interpersonal relationship, and it was conceptualised to be filmed in black and white – both of which were extreme departures from the other films."

Actress Natalie Portman and director Mira Nair each directed one of the stories as well.
