Scott Weiland Leaves Velvet Revolver

The band Velvet Revolver has decided that their singer Scott Weiland no longer fits in with the group.

According to Billboard.com, the founding members of Velvet Revolver, Slash, Duff McKagen, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner, announced that the group and their singer, Scott Weiland, have officially terminated their collaboration after many public quarrels.

"This band is all about its fans and its music and Scott Weiland isn’t 100% committed to either. Among other things, his increasingly erratic onstage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on," Slash explained yesterday (April 1).

Velvet Revolver is about to present their last concert with Weiland at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.

This news comes after the announcement of a reunion tour with Scott Weiland’s former group, the Stone Temple Pilots. Next week, during a press conference in Los Angeles, the Stone Temple Pilots will announce the schedule for their tour.
