Scott Weiland’s Wife Arrested

Mary Weiland, the wife of Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland, set her husband’s clothes on fire over the weekend.

The 31 year-old woman was arrested by police outside the couple’s California home on Saturday.  Mary Weiland may be charged with felony arson and vandalism.  The clothes that were burned were estimated to be worth $10,000.

Earlier that day, the couple vandalized two rooms of a hotel during a domestic dispute.  Mary Weiland was released on a $50,000 bail.  The couple’s two children are currently staying with family friends.

Scott Weiland is well-known by the police.  He has spent time in prison for heroine abuse.  Weiland formed Velvet Revolver in 2002, and previously was the lead singer of the Stone Temple Pilots.
