Combs did not want to participate in the film The Devil Wears Prada, because he thought that it would upset Wintour, reports FemaleFirst.
The film starred Meryl Streep as a character that was strikingly similar to Wintour. Diddy believed that Wintour would turn against him if he took part in the film, which subtly attacked the queen of fashion. He explained, "It wasn’t like they were portraying her in a bad way; it was just that I knew what was in the script and what she’s like in real life were different."
The rapper added that Wintour has always been friendly with him, but remembers that when she criticised his Sean John clothing line, she at least gave him the name of people who could help with the improvements.
