After divorcing his wife Robin Wright last year after a 20-year relationship that produced two children, Dylan and Hopper, actor-director Sean Penn, 51, is wasting no time scouting for new female talent.
The Into the Wild director dated recently-divorced actress Scarlett Johannson, 26, for a few months, and has now found a new young squeeze half his age, Shannon Costello, 26, reports People.
Since early last month, the couple have been seen in public a few times. Penn reportedly met Costello in the fall of 2009 when she was communications director for J/P Haitian Relief Organization, and the two became friends.
Costello also worked as a producer on Davis Guggenheim’s documentary, Waiting for Superman, and has worked at the ABC news program 20/20. Along with Brian Grazer she will produce Ron Howard’s film adaptation of the Jon Krakauer book Under the Banner of Heaven, which is currently in development.
Over the years, Penn has been linked with some of the most beautiful women in the world: Elizabeth McGovern, Susan Sarandon, Madonna, Jewel, Robin Wright, and Scarlett Johannson. He most recently co-starred in the drama This Must Be the Place with Frances McDormand.
