Sebastian Vettel announced his retirement.
The four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has chosen to hang up his helmet, racing shoes and steering wheel at the end of the current season.
The 35-year-old German said he wanted to thank everyone, especially the fans, and explains his decision while confirming the rumors.
“The decision to retire has been a difficult one for me to take, and I have spent a lot of time thinking about it. At the end of the year I want to take some more time to reflect on what I will focus on next; it is very clear to me that, being a father, I want to spend more time with my family.” he said via his statement.

Vettel has four world championship titles with the Red Bull team (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013).
Vettel also got 53 wins and 122 podiums.
