Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and writer-director Michael Patrick King have all signed contracts for Sex and the City 2.
People confirmed the news, adding that the team is very excited to bring a second film instalment to their fans.
No date has been set for when the flick begins shooting, but it is believed to be getting underway soon. Inside sources say that the film may hit theatres as early as 2010.
The first film, based on the HBO TV series, earned $400 million at box offices worldwide.
