Sex and the City to Reflect Financial Crisis

Sarah Jessica Parker thinks that the Sex and the City sequel will incorporate the current financial crisis in the United States.

In an interview with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood, the star who plays Carrie Bradshaw revealed that her character may have a few less pairs of Manolo Blahnik shoes in her closet in the next film.

"How do we address these economic times in a franchise that has a lot to do with luxury and labels? There is a lot that we have to think about because times are very different. So these are nice challenges, these are good challenges," said Parker.

Bush then tried to push the actress into revealing more details about the movie. "In a million years I’m not going to give you an indication," she laughed. "I want someone to show up that first weekend."
