Shaquille O’Neal asks for $100M to manage the Los Angeles Lakers

Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal would be willing to manage the legendary Los Angeles Lakers if they would pay him… a lot.
On a show on the podcast The Big Podcast with Shaq the former NBA star set his conditions to become the Lakers‘ coach .
“If the Lakers offer me $25 million a year for four years, I’ll coach the Lakers. I need a four-year contract. I’ll coach them right now.”
Shaquille O’Neal played 19 seasons in the NBA. In fact, he won three consecutive titles in 2000, 2001 and 2002 with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the 50-year-old has never coached a professional basketball team.
The Lakers are going through some tough times. They missed the playoffs despite having a star-studded roster of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. Coach Frank Vogel was fired after the season.
If the Lakers were to offer Shaq the contract he wants to take over the team, he would become the highest paid coach in the NBA.
