According to Grazia magazine, the 48 year-old star recently designed a poncho and travel bag for Italian label Fendi for a charity auction held at the Cannes Film Festival.
Despite rumours that the industry was shallow and unwelcoming, Stone insists that she was touched by the generosity and charitable behaviour of the people that she worked with on the project.
Stone said, "The fashion world is not superficial. Fendi were amazing to do what they did. I’m very proud that amidst the beauty and fashion are real people who get up and do things."
The Casino actress also insists she is fully committed to her charity work and doesn’t get involved to raise her own profile.
