Several sources have reported that actress Sharon Stone was arrested at the airport after an altercation with a stewardess, reports FemaleFirst.
According to her spokesperson, Paul Bloch, Stone asked for private security at the airport for her disposal. "The people waiting were private security hired by Sharon. She was not detained by police," he said.
"Sharon had been visiting her father in Montana, and was approved to take both bags on the plane. When she got to the plane, she told me the stewardess screamed at her that she couldn’t take both bags on board," he explained. Bloch also added that there was no real problem and denied the arrest.
An airport spokesperson also confirmed that Sharon Stone asked, in advance, to have security guards waiting for her when she arrived. She was travelling by herself and did not want to cause a disruption with requests for autographs.
