Sheryl Crow adopts again

Sheryl Crow welcomes a second child into the family.

Last Friday (June 4), singer Sheryl Crow made an official announcement on her website. People reports she informed the world she adopted a second child.

She wrote: "I have some exciting news to share with you guys. Wyatt has a new little brother!" She added that the little boy, named Levi James, was born on April 30.

Sheryl Crow, 48, adopted her first son Wyatt in the United States in 2007. He is now three years old.

Crow had a really eventful year before she adopted Wyatt. In February 2006, just a few weeks after breaking up with cyclist Lance Armstrong, she learned she was suffering from breast cancer. She underwent treatment and happily announced she was in complete remission.

Sheryl Crow will perform at the Lilith Fair this summer. It kicks off on June 27 in Calgary and stops in 36 cities before wrapping up on August 16 in Dallas, Texas.

Some of the big names appearing at the Lilith Fair this year include Rihanna, Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, Cat Power, Erykha Badu and a few popular bands from the 1980s, The Bangles and The Go-Go’s.
