Shiseido goes Zen again

Shiseido unveils the latest edition of its Zen fragrance.

As it does every year, Shiseido launches a new limited edition of its Zen perfume, reports Vogue.

Last year’s edition came in a white, cube-shaped flacon.

The 2010 summer edition of the fragrance is sold in a purple flacon.  More fruity and dynamic notes have been added to the composition. To reflect the energy and sensuality of a summer evening, base notes composed of sensual musk, cedar and warm amber have been added. Other notes feature yuzu, lily of the valley, freesia, tuberose and jasmine.

The new edition of Zen by Shiseido for summer 2010 will be in stores in March. It was created by perfumer Michel Almairac.

The Japanese brand teamed up with designer Alexander Wang last summer to launch a make-up collection. It offered 12 different products, including lip gloss, lip stick and eye shadow.
