According to People, shots were fired at the wedding ceremony held for the two stars in Costa Rica on Saturday (April 4).
Three or four men, according to witnesses, shot into the crowd of photographers who had gathered to catch the marriage of the celebrities on film.
The incident has been confirmed by local police, who are investigating further. At this time, there is no proof that the shots were fired by bodyguards for the stars.
One member of the paparazzi explained, "I didn’t see who had the gun. I’ve been shot at before, but only when I was covering the war in Iraq or when I was in Israel. This is ridiculous!"
Apparently, bodyguards attempted to seize the photographer’s equipment as he drove off with a friend in an SUV. Shots were fired into the back of the vehicle.
