Singer Susan Boyle was badly shaken up after catching a man who broke into her home. She talked to Simon Cowell, the creator of Britain’s Got Talent, who revealed to the world that he offered her an all-expenses paid luxury vacation so she can rest and get over the scare.
The 48-year old Scot leads a simple and humble life, and took care of her mother a large part of the time before she past away, and prefers to stay home with her cat, Pebbles.
A source tells how Simon Cowell had a long conversation with Boyle after hearing about what happened. He offered to do anything he could to help, including paying for a luxury vacation. Susan Boyle thanked him but said she would rather stay home with her kitty. He told her to call back if she changed her mind.
The break in occurred when Boyle was coming home from a studio where she had recorded her part in Everybody Hurts, the R.E.M. song that a group of artists is singing to aid Haiti.
