UsMagazine.com has learned that Maureen McCann, actor Simon Pegg’s wife, gave birth to a little girl whose name has not yet been revealed.
Last February, the Shaun of the Dead star admitted to finally being ready to experience the joys of fatherhood. "It’s the most important thing to me," he said. "I’m very excited. I want to be a really good dad, a good influence and a good role model — someone my child can turn to, whatever the hell that means…"
Pegg is also godfather to Apple Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s first-born daughter.
