Skechers recently signed a licensing deal with Global Design Concept for that company to design, make and distribute Skecher’s first collection of backpacks, messenger bags and tote bags. This debut line will include products for men, women and children that will be sold in North America.
The popular brand of shoes is branching out to offer a wider variety of products. Starting in Fall 2010, this Skechers bag collection will be available in department, specialty, sporting goods and footwear stores.
Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, said: "Our goal is to strengthen the power of Skechers and reach more people by offering a greater variety of products."
Skechers also has a licensing deal with French Craft Leather Goods for leather accessories, including wallets, which will go on sale next month.
