The Internet site Billboard.com reports that Billy Corgan and his band will be performing to mark the Smashing Pumpkins’ 20th birthday.
The first show will take place on August 9 in Hammond, Indiana. The performance is scheduled for a smaller venue to create a feeling of intimacy.
Larger venue shows are also planned for New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, although dates have not yet been released. "These shows will focus on the band’s history, legacy and accomplishments over their career," said the band.
