According to the website IMDB, the rapper has been accused of attempting to transport a dangerous weapon by Californian authorities. Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was stopped on September 27 at an airport in Orange County, California.
The 34 year-old artist, was attempting to bord a plane carrying a 21 inch police baton in his computer bag.
If found guilty, the I Wanna Love You singer could face three years of prison. On October 26, the star was again stopped in an airport, but this time for possession of marijuana.
Snoop Dogg was stopped in Heathrow Airport last April due to a brawl that broke out involving the rapper’s entourage. The case will go to the Los Angeles Superior Court in December.
