Snoop Lion’s reverse mid-life crisis

Snoop Lion is glad he has relinquished his "childish" ways and got all his partying out of his system at a time when most men embark on a mid-life crisis.

Snoop Lion thinks he is having a midlife crisis in reverse.

The 41-year-old musician – who has changed his name from Snoop Dogg and embraced Rastafarianism – is keen to do something "positive" with his life and thinks it is natural he has curbed his partying at a time in his life when other men develop a renewed desire to enjoy wild nights.

He said: "When you reach the pinnacle, you finally wake up, put aside childish ways and want to do something positive.

"You can affect people. You have kids and you understand what life is about.

"At 40, most men decide to live wild and crazy because they’ve been so conservative all along. Me, I’ve been living wild and crazy my whole life."

Despite his new outlook on life, Snoop – who is worth an estimated $60 million – insists he won’t be giving away his vast wealth to benefit others.

He said: "If I give it all away I give it to my people. Make sure others are happy when I’m gone.

"That was the whole purpose of me getting it. It’s never been me-me-me, it’s about us-us-us.

"I’m not 100 per cent Rastafarian. Doesn’t matter. I’m learning.

"No [I’m not giving it away], it’s been through my god-given talent."
